Beginners are welcome!

We love teaching with oils, but you're welcome to explore other painting mediums, too. Our classes are about discovering your creativity, developing your skills, and enjoying the process of painting.

Who teaches the classes?

The classes are taught by Heather Bradbury, a professional photorealistic painter, teacher and mentor.

Heather previously owned and ran a gallery and creative studio in the Dandenong Ranges, Melbourne, where she taught around 60 students each week. Over the past 10 years, she has taught over 1000 students, helping them discover that learning to paint with oils can be achievable, enjoyable and rewarding.

Now living in Darwin, Heather has taken on the role of Coordinator at Darwin Visual Arts Gallery. Her own paintings focus on water and reflections, capturing a visual journal of life's discoveries.

Heather loves helping people find their creative voice and regularly runs classes and workshops to encourage others to explore their creativity and bring their artistic dreams to life.
