MY STORY
Hey there! Welcome to my site! I am a mum of four amazing boys and I'm passionate about helping people find their creative voice.
I currently teach painting and other creative courses both in my Melbourne Studio and online!
Having grown up in rural Victoria and then lived in Tasmania for almost 20 years, nature and community has been a big part of my world. When I burnt out many years ago, I needed something to help me find comfort and direction. I fell in love with painting nature in a photorealistic way during this time, then went on to teach others.
Space jump 10 years or so I now own my own gallery (called Kapi Art Space) and have over 100 students a week, many who have said painting has changed their lives, as it did mine!
I have many stories to share and look forward to having a yarn with you sometime about how creativity can help you too!
"Words cannot express how important classes each week is for me. By learning a different technique I have become a different artist. I now value is how grounded I become, because of the environment, but especially because of Heather. This not only helps you focus to paint but helps you then feel calm for the rest of the day."

"Even if you've never picked up a paint brush you'll be able to achieve something wonderful with Heather's expert advice."
