Why Paint? The benefits of painting with oils

This a little introduction to why I love painting with oils but also an encouragement to us all to play and experiment with other paint mediums too.

I must say, though, that oil paint is simply beautiful to use; the softness of the paint and the smooth way it glides across the canvas is so rewarding to use. I enjoy painting photorealism because it helps me slow down and enjoy each moment. It's my go-to when I am having a flat day! The best therapy ever!
