How I Take Great Reference Photos

When inspiration hits, make sure you're ready with these great and simple tips!

I am currently on a trip up through Central Australia and staying in Darwin for a little while before moving onto a new job... and even though I didn't plan it, I always find myself thinking about the beautiful things I see through the eyes of a painter.

So, today I would like to share how I go about capturing photos I will actually go back and look at when painting later on. I'll talk about the cameras I use, how I frame things, and what I find useful!
